Macrofest 2013: Backstage

[March 15th 2013]
I know, I know I'm one month late posting this but I would still like to drop some photos of Macrofest 2013.
To anyone who doesn't know, Macrofest is an anual event, celebrated since 2009, that gathers around art, fashion, design and music in one place. This year it was a 5 day exposition with international and national photographers, designers, bands and artists.
Even though last year I really wanted to go, this was my first time going to this event. Sofia Lujan, Venezuelan high-end handbags designer, happens to be also my Fashion Design teacher and she was going to present her new collection 'Oz'. I offered myself to take photos of her backstage. Today I come up to you guys with not only photos of SL but also of Ganexa's recycled dresses.
Amanda as one of the good witches of the west
This sweet looking model as Dorothy
Sofia Lujan and two models playing the wicked witches of the east (I absolutely adoreeee the model from the left, favorite ever!)
One of my favorites
Annie Chajin
This is Kathy aka Niji, one of my friends from 4KP and our Korean language classes. It took me for a surprise meeting her there and knowing she's now studying Fashion Design in Ganexa. First runway ever and she kicked ass! I'm so proud of you Bommie-G. Love you!
This was her creation. Isn't it a-m-a-z-i-n-g and g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s?
You can visit Sofia Lujan's Website or FB Page to know more about her work and handbags' collections.
Next post will be about this same evening on Macrofest 2013.
Blessings,
はる~
