He's what I call the real vampire. His eyes, his aura, his mood, his beautiful voice. He's the man that catches everyone's eyes, girls or boys, because he's the true beauty.
BUCK-TICK is something thrilling too. They're about to hit their 3 decades of playing and composing. Romance was the first PV I saw of them (2008) and I went blank after being glared with those eyes of Sakurai Atsushi. Their mood, their lyrics, everything gets straight deep inside you.
It's also fantastic to say they don't stick to one kind of genre but they vary between alternative, gothic, industrial, electronic, dark wave, power pop, punk rock mixed in between with their visuals creating their own esence. It's almost impossible to hear a BUCK-TICK's song and not knowing it's them.
He's also what I call the real dandy on stage. His style, his calmness yet his passion, his accents on certain words. It's something like an extasis.
Watch him here with Abingdon Boys School's rendition of BUCK-TICK's hit song "Dress" (1993). Takanori Nishikawa looks like he's on paradise.
